We are thrilled to announce the signing of former Forfar Farmington and Dundee United forward Megan Robb.
After a year out of the game, Scottish Youth international Megan Robb, 20, is looking to kick start her career in the SWF Championship with hometown club Dryburgh Athletic.
Megan has represented her country at U16, U17 and U19s while plying her trade at Dundee United WFC then latterly Forfar Farmington in the Scottish Women’s Football top flight.
After a period out recharging her batteries Robb is determined to hit the ground running and what a better place than the club where it all started many years ago
Megan said on her move “I’ve always had a good relationship with the club since I started here back in the day at U11s. The club has changed so much since way back then and after speaking to the staff behind the scenes I was impressed with their plans.
I’m looking to get back playing, enjoying my football again and I’m over the moon to finally sign and get started”
Dryburgh Athletic Manager Andy Melville commented on capturing Robb’s signature “Megan is a fantastic signing for the club. She has played at the top level in Scotland as well as representing her country at youth level. Despite still being young, she will add experience to our side as we play our first season in the Championship. It’s a signing that should really benefit both parties as Megan can come in and start enjoying her football again and we get to add further quality to bolster our already impressive attacking options.”
Robb will kick off her Dryburgh career on the 18th October at home to Kelty Hearts. Check out Dryburgh Athletic Girls & Ladies on social media for more details.
