Dryburgh Athletic Women are delighted to announce the re-signing of Stacey McFadyen for the 2021/22 Championship North season.
Stacey joined the club back in 2019 from Dundee United, having previously also represented Tayside Ladies and Jeanfield Swifts.
The skilful winger has proved to be a great asset, chipping in with a number of goals and assists in her time at the club.
Despite being limited to just 7 competitive appearances - due to the Covid-19 pandemic - Stacey has already registered 10 goals for Dryburgh.
She has been in impressive form during pre-season also, with four goals in the recent friendly win over East Fife.
Stacey said on re-signing: “I’m really looking forward to the season ahead because I feel as if I’ve improved my game.
“The team have been working really hard in training and games.
“I’m also excited to hopefully score a lot more goals this season.”
Elaborating further on her improvement, Stacey added: “Dundee United was a real challenge, but one that I enjoyed, and my time there helped me to grow as a player.”
Look out for further announcements of player re-signings, as Dryburgh Athletic Women build up to the start of the 2021/22 season.
