Dryburgh Athletic Women are delighted to announce the re-signing of Megan Robb for the 2021/22 Championship North season.
Megan joined Dryburgh last year, having previously represented Forfar Farmington and Dundee United, as well as Scotland at youth level.
A quick, skilful forward with an eye for goal, Megan adds a different dimension to what will be a very exciting Dryburgh attack this season.
The Scotland youth cap netted on her Dryburgh debut, but then saw her first season at the club reduced to just two games - due to the Covid restrictions - and now she is looking to make up for lost time:
“I’m really excited for the new season to start, as I joined during the stop-start period.
“I have only played a handful of games but have loved every minute of it.
“I’m hoping to get back to enjoying football and couldn’t think of a better team to do that in.”
The forward has high hopes for the season ahead and is setting her sights high:
“I’ve played for my country and at some top level teams, so I’m hoping to bring my experience to the table, and hopefully do my job as a striker and put some in the back of the net.
“I have big belief for this team and I believe we have the talent and determination to push for the league.
“I’m very confident in all the girls ability and heart.”
Look out for further announcements of player re-signings, as Dryburgh Athletic Women build up to the start of the 2021/22 season which starts a week on Sunday 15th August 12noon KO at Glenesk Park vs Buchan.
Come along and cheer on the team!
