Huge congratulations to our Women’s Development side, today confirmed as SWF Development League North/East Champions.
The team have had a fantastic year showing real progress and consistently improving over the year as a team.
Head Coach Scott Barclay had this to say “I am absolutely delighted that we have won the league. This achievement is a testament to the hard work, commitment and togetherness shown by everyone throughout the season. Every member of the squad has contributed to this success and it has been a real honour to lead the team this year.”
Head of Girls’ & Women’s Football at Dryburgh John Beatt commented “I’m so pleased for this group to have gone on to win the Development league in its first season. There’s a lot of hard work went in behind the scenes to restructure and support our Development side and the coaches and players deserve huge credit for this achievement. Scott, Ross, Fiona and the girls have worked tirelessly over the last year and thoroughly deserve this reward for their efforts.”
The Development side finish off their season this Sunday away to East Fife Development in a 12noon KO at King George Park, Leven. Come along to see the team presented with the League trophy and celebrate their success.
