Scott joins the Burgh Coaching team

19/03/2024

We are delighted to welcome new U10s Maroons Coach Scott Barclay to Dryburgh Athletic Community Club.

Like all grassroots clubs, we can only survive with the dedication of volunteers. None more so than people like Scott, who give up countless hours every week to help develop our young players

Scott has been involved now for a few months with our 2024 U10s Girls side and has been working alongside Coaches Sandy McWilliam and Paul Brown helping the girls enjoy their footballing experience at Dryburgh.

On joining Dryburgh - Scott had this to say “I’m excited to be part of this fantastic football club and look forward to helping the girls progress and grow as a team”.

Interested in getting involved with Dryburgh Athletic Community Club?

We are always looking for motivated, enthusiastic volunteers and can also offer football to Boys & Girls from age 3 to the adult game.

The questions we ask any new prospective Coaches looking to join our set up - are you a friendly, organised, enthusiastic individual who can help us develop and coach our young players?

Previous experience beneficial, but not essential as we fully support all our coaches through SFA coach education.

- Full coaching kit supplied

- Full financial support with SFA coaching courses

- Help shape youngster futures in YOUR community

- Meet new people

- Gain great coaching experience

Think you've got something to offer?
