Dryburgh Athletic Community Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Ryan Alexander as our new Club Development Officer.
Ryan joins us following a rigorous interview process held over the past month to find a successor for the role vacated by Sarah Smith earlier this month. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all applicants for their interest in the position and wish them the very best in their future endeavors.

His passion for people and genuine desire to see the Community Club grow will be evident to all. We’re absolutely delighted he has agreed to join the team.”
Ryan shared his enthusiasm about joining the Club:
“I’m really excited to be joining Dryburgh Athletic as Club Development Officer. The club already has a fantastic reputation for its community focus, player pathway, and commitment to development at all levels — and I’m proud to be part of that journey going forward.
I’m passionate about creating inclusive, positive environments where players can grow both on and off the pitch. I’m equally committed to supporting our incredible team of coaches and volunteers — giving them the tools, confidence, and recognition they deserve to thrive in their roles.
Dryburgh has always been a club that cares about people, and I’m looking forward to building strong connections with families, partners, and the wider community to help the club go from strength to strength. I can’t wait to get started and contribute to what makes Dryburgh such a special place to be.”
Ryan will officially take up the role on 4th August, with his first task being to lead our Summer Holiday Camp, taking place from 4th–8th August at New Beechwood Park.
