Sunday’s SWF Championship win over Glasgow Girls saw Dryburgh produce a commanding performance to return to winning ways, following disappointing back-to-back defeats.
For our tricky winger, Clara Laing, it marked the significant milestone of her 100th appearance for the club. Clara led the team out as captain - a richly deserved honour for a player that has represented the club with distinction since first joining initially on loan from Dundee United WFC in 2022.
Clara is a hardworking and dedicated player, who always puts the team first. Her versatility and commitment, along with her quality and ability to provide goals and assists on a consistent basis, has seen her become a key member of the squad over the past 3 years.
Not only is Clara a reliable and consistent performer on the park, she is also someone who will always give her time to help the wider Dryburgh community and is a fantastic role model to younger players at the club.
Congratulations, Clara! Here’s to the next 100!
