Following on from our previous appeal asking for the public’s help in preventing children from breaking into New Beechwood Park, we’d like to share some photos showing exactly what we’re dealing with.
Following last week’s announcement that there will be a £1 million investment in the facility, we want to do everything we can to protect the park and prevent this kind of damage from continuing. This investment is fantastic news for our community, and we all have a part to play in looking after it.
Despite our ongoing efforts to secure the site and prevent access, individuals are still managing to get in. Unfortunately, this is now resulting in damage to the pitch and goals, as well as fires being set within the park.
We are asking parents, guardians and the wider community to please speak to young people about the dangers of entering the site and to help us protect this valuable community facility.
If you witness anyone gaining unauthorised access or causing damage, please report it to the appropriate authorities. Thank you for your continued support in helping us protect New Beechwood Park for everyone.
